The game lets you choose the mercenary you wan to take on- it has a refreshing lot to choose from, rather than the usual clichéd ones. Once that is done, you are all set for the fierce battle against the well-trained mercenaries. With 20 miles of the untamed African landscape for you to explore and a bad-guy to kill, what more can you ask for? The African Savannah is so well designed, so alive. As a war-ridden zone being torn apart by the two combatant factions, you can actually feel the heat from the massive explosions. Things get worse as soon as you reach the town – an attack of malaria sends you down, sucked out of all your energy. Open you eyes to meet your very enemy face-to-face- The Jackal.



What happens next is all for you to experience. To kill the master-mind Jackal, you will have to resort to various measures. You'll have to aide both sides and work for diamonds or malaria pills that save your life. You will also discover that a favour you do never goes unreturned, for the chap you helped might just turn up at the right moment to lend you a hand and a pistol. The game is so realistic, with all the true-to-life flora and fauna of the African wilderness. You tend to grow fond of certain characters, like Nasreen who appears exactly when you are down to your last straw. But then, suddenly, she needs your help to save her life. Will you be able to do it? Well, you just have to play the game find out.



Far Cry 2, exclusively on Playstation 3 features a dynamic weather system that changes according to the changes in your mood! The sky is all tempestuous at your bad times and bright and sunny to reflect better times. You can buy yourself a mercenary and pit him against the opponent. Hone your survival skills in the African jungles with realistic weapons and bullets dug out of your body when you run out of them!The world of Far Cry 2 is so real- Here soldiers fall sick, cars break down, favours are returned and bad guys are just like they are in real life, just plain mean.
