Since the launch of the new site here at verdicts.co.uk, we have noticed a high volume of traffic on our news articles coming from google.
Investigating further we found that in some cases, news articles at Verdicts recieved a 1st place listing for relevant search terms, within just 1 week of being posted on the site.
We're always testing the water with search engine optimisation to get ourselves higher up on googles results and we seem to have achieved a very effective SEO setup, particularly on these news articles pages.
Given that our reviews pages are built under the same template, we expect to see a rise in traffic and higher positions for these pages as they are next spidered by google.
This perhaps shows that while you can follow a few rules in SEO, on the whole it's a game of roulette as to how successful your search engine optimisation will prove.
