Introduction
The A115B is feature-packed and stylish but, ultimately, unreliable.
Good Points
Lovely 15" LCD screen, light-detector allows for automatic adjustment of screen brightness, nice keyboard (bigger keys than on most laptops), great features such as Centrino 802.11g, 512MB RAM and mid-range ATI Radeon 9200.
Bad Points
Hard disk failed after less than a year! Sony's technical support and it's 'e-support' system is a waste of time. In my case, the 'e-support' system would not even recognise my product's product number and serial number. Ultimately, I have had to get a refund on the product and I will think twice about buying Sony in future.
The Verdict
A nice, stylish, feature-packed laptop let down by Sony's reliance on cheap components and its poor after-sales support. Avoid!
