Introduction
I have been using computers since I was seven. The biggest problem was trying to move the computers around every room of the house, so I decided it was better to get a Laptop with 64MB of graphics and can play computer games running Windows XP Home Edition (2001, with Service Pack 2 Pre-installed)
Good Points
This laptop has changed the way I think about computers. Never before I had to move multiple items with me while suffering injuries with this or any other product. The computer used 512MB of ram in 2 256MB RAM ports, and the sound card is functional through the 2 fromt speakers of the console. The graphics card is the highly-acclaimed ATi Mobility Radeon 7000 Graphics card, meaning that 2D/3D games can be processed with ease. Bundled software included is Media Player 9, AvRack, Microsoft OneNote 2003 Trial and Microsoft works. Norton Internet Security and Antivirus is also included. This laptop is also very cheap, compared to the new laptops around.
Bad Points
I have only had a few problems with this Laptop. Firstly, the processor may be a Celeron D 2.88GHz, in which sounds great, but isn't as powerful as the Pentium 4 or Centrino chips. Also, the LiveUpdate is buggy, and I have had one problem with that software, as I could not download any information from the server, forcing me to restart and uninstalling the program for Freeware Alternatives. Finally, the Mobility Radeon 7000 is rubbish at playing a graphic-heavy game, or even a 2D/3D game. On the highest settings, frames go down to 4 or less per second during the intense moment, making it a acquired taste of whether to play games on this machine or not.
The Verdict
Overall this package is a very good for money that although has a few problems regarding graphics and software, but still functions without any error as of yet.
