Introduction
AVAST! HOME REVIEW:
Probably the best FREE anti-virus available.
Good Points
Has a Web shield, Standard shield, Peer-to-peer shield, email protection, Internet mail protection, Network sheild, and Instant messaging shield.
Has loads of features (see above).
Good detection rate.
Doesn't hog system resources like Norton, ZoneLabs etc.
Good support on the Avast website.
Bad Points
eerrm...considering it's free, none, other than it's not got as high detection rate as paid programmes like Kaspersky, and NOD32.
The Verdict
Can't go wrong with Avast! Home.
