Introduction
Audacity is a 100% free program and brilliant at that, this was actually used in my school as it comes with so many features. It is very simple to use and has a lot of different things to do, this is from just simply recording your song to remastering it to great effects. It is not just good for recording a song either you can use it to do your voices in flash or for narration for a video or game you are making. The best thing is, it can read and export files into many different types. I had trouble converting a MIDI file to a MP3 file until my teacher told me this was a really good piece of software to use and to this day it still hasn't let me down. It works on all main operating systems.
