Introduction
Okay, I admit, it's a friend thats bought it, but I've been endlessly trouble shooting over the summer... :)

Reason for buying: Tranpsorting the two hundred odd cd's in her collection to Canada in a small easy package.
Good Points
Easy to use software.

Four buttons and a wheel on the actual iPod, genious! Very easily learnt!

With a third party gadget, you can listen to your iPod tunes on any radio. A must have really!

Pocket size, as all MP3 players should be! With 40Gb in you pocket, where can you go wrong??
Bad Points
As far as we can work out, you have to have a copy of your iPod tunes on your computer. Which when you have a 40Gb iPod, and 20Gb laptop...

Problem solved, external Hard disk!! iPod keeps throwing wobblers and storing music on the wrong drive... :s On we plod...

No LCD on the remote so you can't see what your listening to, but thats only a minor thing really.
The Verdict
Small, light, all your tunes at your finger tips. A great piece of equipment.

You'll have to buy this from a computer shop or online. You won't find the iPod in a normal electrical store, and i think it's safe to say you will never find it in Dixons!

Ours was 17.5% cheaper than you may have seen around cos we don't pay VAT. :) Lucky us!

Introduction
I have just purchased a 40G Apple i-pod and its the first time i have owned an mp3 player but it was worth every penny... not only can it hold 10,000 tracks (aprx on 40G) but you can set up huge (and as many as you like)playlists. I tried it through a pair or senheisser hd 25sp cans and it sounds awsome! when full it will play continuosly for four weeks or you can listen to a new tune every day for 27 years!!
Good Points
blows you away with the amount of tunes you can have at your finger-tips!!!
Bad Points
it takes a little getting used to when you start to down-load but half the fun of a "new toy" is messing about with it...
The Verdict
So if your a lazy slob like me you just put it on random and you never have to get of the sofa again... BUY ONE : )
