Introduction
Okay, I admit, it's a friend thats bought it, but I've been endlessly trouble shooting over the summer... :)
Reason for buying: Tranpsorting the two hundred odd cd's in her collection to Canada in a small easy package.
Good Points
Easy to use software.
Four buttons and a wheel on the actual iPod, genious! Very easily learnt!
With a third party gadget, you can listen to your iPod tunes on any radio. A must have really!
Pocket size, as all MP3 players should be! With 40Gb in you pocket, where can you go wrong??
Bad Points
As far as we can work out, you have to have a copy of your iPod tunes on your computer. Which when you have a 40Gb iPod, and 20Gb laptop...
Problem solved, external Hard disk!! iPod keeps throwing wobblers and storing music on the wrong drive... :s On we plod...
No LCD on the remote so you can't see what your listening to, but thats only a minor thing really.
The Verdict
Small, light, all your tunes at your finger tips. A great piece of equipment.
You'll have to buy this from a computer shop or online. You won't find the iPod in a normal electrical store, and i think it's safe to say you will never find it in Dixons!
Ours was 17.5% cheaper than you may have seen around cos we don't pay VAT. :) Lucky us!
