Good Points
The fantastic thing about this album, is that almost every song grabs you from the very first time you hear it, and it feels like you've heard it before, even though you haven't. This is a good thing, as you can enjoy listening to the album from start to finish without having to make your mind up over whether or not you like certain songs (but that's just my personal taste in music)
There is a great number of songs on the album for their first one - 14 including the hidden track.
There is good variety in the style of music and vocals, some songs sounding like past bands such as Beach Boys for example.
Many songs have a moment where the instumentals cut out, the singing continues, and the music kicks back in, and it's done incredibly well.
My Favourite Tracks:
- Five Colours In Her Hair
- Obviously
- Room On Ther Third Floor
- Hypnotise
- She Left Me
- Unsaid Things
Bad Points
I don't really like the actual band members, but they do make great music!
Every song is about a girl - but then most songs are like that.
The Verdict
I highly recommend this album to most people, and i think that any age group will enjoy it. It's unusual for me to enjoy every track from an album, but McFly's ''Room On The 3rd Floor'' is simply fantastic and I can't fault a single song on it.
