Introduction
a comedy about a local barber shop who has a strong presence in the community with occasional hilarious consequences.
this time the story is about everyones favourite barbershop having to compete with a large franchise which is superior in practically every way built right infront of there own store.
Good Points
actors and actresses include:
ice cube, queen latifa, cedric the entertainer and eve.
if only all real barbershops could be entertaining as this particular barbershop, then it wouldn't be rated as one of the most boring things you could do.
they have REAL conversations that you would find interesting in a barbershop e.g the infamous r.kelly sexual video.
some of the tunes are very much up to date with the latest tunes from some big artists.
Bad Points
for a comedy, it really doesn't contain enough laughs.
some of the acting is very weak.
the story is also weak and the ending was definately rushed, the ending was more than disappointing but i guess that could leave the door open for a third outing but a lot of things require to be improved if they want the film to be successful.
The Verdict
overall the film is worth seeing but don't expect to watch a brilliantly hilarious film because you definately won't find it here.
the film is worth watching by either rental or on satellite but i wouldn't reccomend purchasing this as it will hardly ever be viwed and it isn't worthy of a good collections catalogue.
