Good Points
ABSOLUTELY INCREDIBLE! This DVD player from Yamada will play almost anything you throw at it! Whats more, as new encoding technology becomes available, you can update the firmware yourself, by downloading it from the manufacturers website, meaning this dvd player will not become out of date.
very nice design and the DVD player is nice and slim with clickable buttons on the front of the player.
Comes with a remote control with lots of different functions on it, more than most dvd player controllers have.
Supports surround sound (if you know how to rig it all up)

Bad Points
The remote control needs to be pointed directly at the DVD player to work, which is a big dissapointment, but not really that big a deal.
The loading sleeve comes with a protective sticker over it, which it says must be removed before using - which nearly rips it out of the main unit due it's stickyness. And also, the loading sleeve doesn't feel very durable, but then you don't really need it to be.
The Verdict
The best DVD player money can buy, period! at ?49.99, you cannot go wrong with this one! The cheapest, standard DVD player you can get at the moment will cost you over ?30, so spend the extra and get the YAMADA DVX-6600 right now, you will NOT regret it!
The fact that the YAMADA DVX-6600 plays DIVX encoded movies, makes this a must buy!
