Introduction
The Foo Fighters have had some great hits in recent years with songs such as Everlong, My Hero, Monkeywrench and Times Like These, and these more well known Foo Fighters tunes are spread out over the 3 albums currently available.
This particular album (There is nothing left to lose -2002) includes 12 Tracks, which are quite a mixed variety in terms of style - some are heavy rock with shouting in, wheras others have a more controlled and calmer melody to them with singing.
Track listing is as follows:
1. Stacked actors
2. Breakout
3. Learn to fly
4. Gimme stitches
5. Generator
6. Aurora
7. Live-in skin
8. Next year
9. Headwires
10. Ain't it the life
11. M.I.A.
12. Fraternity
Good Points
I like the fact that the style is quite varied over the tracks, as you won't get bored from listening to the album over and over again.
''Breakout'' is featured in ''Me, Myself & Irene'', one of Jim Carey's better films.
Total album time is about average, around 45 - 50 minutes long.
Most songs grab you first time you hear them, which is unusual for me - I usually hear a song about 4 or 5 times before I decide if I like it or not.
Bad Points
Not many well known songs on this album, but every track has it's own appeal.
The Verdict
Fantastic Album with some very catchy tunes - M.I.A, Fraternity, Generator, Learn To Fly to name but a few.
Rock fans will enjoy this one for sure.
