Introduction
This is the soundtrack to the excellent film, Donnie Darko - a fantastic film with an even better soundtrack.
Good Points
There are many tracks on the cd, some of which have vocals, but many of the songs are mysterious ones with chimes and other strange sounds, which just make you remember parts of the film, which is only a good thing.
I was glad to see that both versions of Mad World was on the soundtrack.
Bad Points
Can be depressing to listen to if you've had a particularly bad day at work!
The Verdict
One of the better soundtracks i've got, and one which i'll listen to for years. If you are into the style of music, you would enjoy the Donnie Darko soundtrack without having seen the film, but if you havn't seen the film, go and rent it out now, or buy it on DVD for only ?4.99 at HMV as it will make the soundtrack that little bit more special.
