Introduction
the 505II is the guitar incarnation of zoom'z new compact multi effects pedal, also availabe in the 504 and 506 guises for acoustic and bass respectively. simple two pedal functionality for changing effects with the ability to create and store your own in each sound bank.
Good Points
- cheap to buy
-easy to use
-can add an expression pedal for wah/volume effects
Bad Points
- cheap plastic construction
-effects are quite poor
- distortion is very tinny sounding
The Verdict
a good buy as a first time pedal if you want to have a play around with some different effects but of little relevance to an expereienced guitarist. i prefer to use my boss pedals and on amp distortion effects.
