Introduction
This guitar is awesome! Its set up to look and sound just like the strat's from the 50's. It has a maple neck, single ply pickguard and aged plastic parts making it looks and sound amazingly retro.
Good Points
Sounds absolutly amazing in all respects. The tone is rich and twangy and just screams funk.
It looks beautiful. In my case a gorgeous wood grain with a two tone sunburst finish.
The aged plastic parts make it look like its from the 50's yet hasnt been played ever. I personally love this look.
The maple fretboard looks and feels so nice. It is also aged and looks great.
It came with a deluxe gig bag which is heavily padded which means i can actually move my guitars around with peace of mind.
Simply beautiful to play!
Bad Points
The guitar didn't come with a tremolo arm which isnt too much of a problem but because of the aged plastic parts it means i wont be able to get one with a tip that matches the pickups and tone/volume knobs.
The Verdict
Awesome guitar. I'm so glad I forked out the money for it because it continues to keep me inspired.
Considering its still a mid ranged guitar its amazing. I tried an American deluxe strat whilst deciding what to buy and i actually prefered the tone of the 50's classic which is almost half the price!
Cannot praise it enough!
