F.E.A.R (PC)

First Encounter Assault Recon (F.E.A.R. for short) is a horror-themed FPS that takes place in modern times.
You are a pointman for F.E.A.R. and (as all FPS's have it), you end up being the heroic saviour type. You also find out details about your past and who you are as you progress through the game.

Pros: - Immersive, intense - Play it at night and use only game sounds (Yes, winamp does spoil your gaming experience) for a unique feeling; - Awesome graphics - The game is very detailed, including: slow motion bullet effects, bullet holes in walls, great explosions, extremely detailed characters. - Ingame cinematics that take place without a loader screen showing up, as would normally do; - Great storyline about which you can discover more ingame listening to voice messages on abandoned telephones. - Features slow motion; - Great difficulty levels! Can be passed by beginners but can also be a challenged for expereinced players.

cons: - Your ''allies'' are very rare, plus you cannot interact with them asides from them talking to you.

conclusion: An awesome single-player FPS well worth playing!
