By: Rex Inego | Jun 03, 2009 08:14 AM

The greatest English cricketer of the 20th century gives in his chronicle both on and off the field in the Head On - Ian Botham: The Autobiography by Ian Botham.

Complete with the then allegations of drink and drugs, relationships and ball tampering and harassed by the tabloids, he now is knight famous for the tireless charity works. With a total of 384 pages with 2 x 8 page colour selections, one cannot miss this English hardcover book!

Pros: It is an interesting and perceptive insight into the exceptional authenticity of a genuine modern sporting hero.

cons: Very little is covered in detail.

conclusion: A complete open account of the experiences of this great legend, there are times when he descends into self pity and at times has a positive forward looking perceptive.
