Dell has launched the ultra slim and high performing, Inspiron notebook in the markets. Dell’s ultra slim and compact notebooks range gets another boost with the Inspiron 14z notebook. Intel terms the powerful, thin notebooks as Ultrabooks and hopes it will offer competition to MacBook Airs. Today, people are looking for thinner and efficient models and the advent of Dell Inspiron 14z will add one more choice for the customers. When compared to MacBook Airs, the thickness of Inspiron 14z is half a centimetre more. Product features You can go for Dell Inspiron from second-gen Intel Core i3 or with the one with i5 processor. It also offers 750GB, 640GB and 500GB hard drives choices. Operating on Windows 7 OS, the device comes with smarter options. It is equipped with a 14” large widescreen supporting 1,366 x 768 resolutions. Alongside good video, it offers excellent audio through SRS Premium Sound HD. A media card reader is also supported in this laptop. Other interesting features of this notebook are Bluetooth 3.0, Wi-Fi and a DVD player. The company expects to release its Inspiron14z in the UK markets on September 2011.
