The WaterRower M1 HiRise is more of a business type model than its counterpart the WaterRower M1 LoRise. With the frame being made of fabricated tubular steel it offers a really satisfying experience.

The QuickStart feature is very helpful. All you have to do is press the “On” button and you are ready to row. The Quick Select feature allows you to select applications with just pressing a button and the rest is carried out by using the navigation button. To know what you want about your past rowing history this device is packed with the AutoAStyore feature that stores 9 previous workout sessions of yours.

The machine comes loaded with so many other functions like AutoPreview function, the ZoneBar Function, the ZoneBar feature, Distance Workout Feature etc. It also has the duration workout factor where you can set your duration and it will work down to zero. It also entails the Interval workout feature that offers options of setting up to 9 intervals with alarms that inform you about the end of every interval.

The PC interface has been designed to suit the S4 monitor and the advanced monitor settings of the equipment can connected it to the computer so that you can access many open source software. There is quite a number of software for the WaterRower like Nethalon, Ultracoach, RowH2O, and RoYo etc.

Other than the AutoStore Facility you can also manually store workout sessions. You can even have an idea of projected workout timings when you are planning distance workouts. The view ratio feature allows you to see the relation between power and the recovery of the strokes.

The WaterRower S4 monitor also incorporates a Polar system heart rate measuring facility that exhibits the Hear Rate via a hear Rate window. This feature necessitates a Receiver Box and a Polar Chest Belt. This feature permits you to set your own Heart rate limit and when you are over or less than the set limit, a visual sign indicates the status.
