Wii Points (Wii)

By: Rex Inego | May 10, 2007 04:19 PM

One of the features of the Wii is the abilty to download the 'Classic old Nintendo Games of the past'. You may be thinking 'Yay! Free Games!'. Well, they are not free Unhappy
The currency to buy games is 'Wii Points'. The cost of the games will depend on which Nintendo Console it was on. NES (Nintendo Entertainment System) Games cost 500 Points, SNES (Super Nintendo Entertainment System) and Mega Drive Games are 800 each, TurboGrafx games are 600 each and N64 (Nintendo 64) Games are 1000 points each.

Pros: -Allows you to download old games from the past. -You can buy points from the internet using a Credit Card if you can't be asked to go down town. -Allows hours of 'retro' gaming.

cons: -Expensive -Virtual Games take space up on your Wii Console -Points are non-refundable.

conclusion: Considering the price on the Points, they are best avoided. I would mostly recommend them to any Gamers that want to 'Take a Trip down Memory Lane'. But nonetheless, virtual games provide hours of great fun!
